We are pleased to announce that a PDF file of the Convocation of the 203rd General Chapter of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual is now available on this website. The Letter of Convocation was recently sent to all the governments of our Jurisdictions around the world.
The PDF contains the official convocation from the Minister General, Friar Carlos A. TROVARELLI, along with details regarding the Capitulars, various reports and those who prepare them, auditors, topics that will be discussed, the date of the election of the Minister General, and the Minister General’s reflections on this upcoming General Chapter as a time of grace and hope.
Additionally, in the same file, you will find three attachments. The first is a list of the Capitulars and invited guests at the General Chapter. The second contains prayers proposed for Morning and Evening Prayer; and the third provides some practical guidelines for the Capitulars to follow so the General Chapter runs smoothly (arrivals, travel documents, accommodations, the beginning of the General Chapter, liturgies, expenses, and more).
May all the Capitulars, our confreres, and anyone who will contribute in some way to the success of this 203rd General Chapter, be enlightened, supported and guided by the Holy Spirit during this very important moment for our Order and the Church.
