On February 2-4, 2024, a spiritual retreat was conducted for the lay faithful who receive care from our friars. The retreat took place at the friary in Vilnius, Lithuania. A retreat for the local community of friars followed on Tuesday, February 6.

Conducting spiritual retreats for lay people has become a long-time tradition. Ever since 2017, when the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdańsk) acquired the friary in Vilnius from the Republic of Lithuania, the friars have been inviting the faithful every month to deepen their faith and broaden their knowledge of the psychological and theological aspects of spirituality. The retreat program includes Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, meditations, conferences and the opportunity to go to confession. The Cultural and Spiritual Center, founded by the Conventual Franciscans, and located at the friary in Vilnius, takes care of inviting and scheduling speakers.
