On October 24-26, 2025, the 53rd National Congress of the Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.) of Mexico was conducted with great Marian fervor and fraternal spirit, in Totolapan, Morelos State, Mexico. The motto of the Congress was: “The Militia of the Immaculata: A Sign of Hope.”

The Congress brought together 180 participants from different regions of the country. They aimed to renew their consecration to the Virgin Mary and to strengthen their commitment to evangelization, inspired by the charism of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Also present were the National President of the M.I. in Mexico, Mrs. Esther SÁNCHEZ MACÍAS and a group of friars who guide and follow the various M.I. groups in the country. Among these friars was the National Spiritual Assistant, Friar Abrahám BENJAMÍN CRISÓSTOMO, the local Pastor, Friar Rodolfo LÓPEZ AYALA, Friar Noé GASPARIANO PRIETO, Friar Patricio HERNÁNDEZ HERNÁNDEZ, and the Minister Provincial of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, Friar José Luis SOLÍS ALCÁNTAR.
This Congress is part of the celebration marking eighty-two years of M.I. presence in Mexico. It has been a fruitful journey of Marian evangelization that, from the beginning, has sought to convey the message of Christ through the heart of the Immaculata.
During the Congress, the participants took part in Masses, Eucharistic adoration, Morning Prayer, prayed the Rosary, and attended five formational lectures. There were also periods for fraternity and integration that helped strengthen everyone’s desire to be one in Mary.
Each session was an opportunity to deepen our Marian spirituality and strengthen the unity of the Association, reaffirming the mission of the Militia of the Immaculata as a sign of hope in today’s world.
The Congress left us with a renewed awareness that, to continue our mission, we must be spiritually strengthened in Mary, who guides and supports the path of discipleship. With the Immaculata and St. Maximilian, we live in the hope of sharing and walking in the spirit of the Gospel, bearing witness to God’s faith and love in everyday life.

“Those who give themselves totally to the Immaculate become instruments of her love.”
(Attributed to St. Maximilian Kolbe)
