On Saturday, June 12, 2021, nine friar-theology students of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico renewed their simple vows. The event took place at the María Inmaculada Friary in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico.
The ceremony was presided over by the Minister Provincial (recently elected for a second term), Friar Mario CASTRO MARTÍNEZ. All of the friars of the local fraternity were present along with the Assistant General for the Federación América Latina Conventuales (FALC), Friar Rogério PEREIRA XAVIER, who was in Mexico to take part in the Ordinary Provincial Chapter.
The young men who renewed their vows participated enthusiastically in the celebration and listened attentively to the powerful exhortation by the Minister Provincial, Friar Mario.
It was a day of great joy and renewed hope for this presence of the Order in Latin America.
