From August 26 to September 1, 2024, a retreat for people with disabilities took place at the friary in Niepokalanów Lasek, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw).
The retreat was led by Friar Grzegorz Maria BARTOSIK. Forty-five people participated, including volunteers who helped lead the event.
It was primarily a time for encountering God during Mass or adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. During the retreat, the participants entrusted their lives to the Heavenly Father through the hands of our Immaculate Mother and supported each other in prayer. They deepened their faith and love during meditations and homilies, and shared their life experiences in small group meetings.
The retreat was fruitful not only for the participants, but also for the volunteers who guided them.
