On September 5, 2026, Friar Samuele Raffaele DI MICCO made his perpetual profession during evening Mass. The event took place in Nocera Inferiore, Italy. The Mass was presided over by the Most Reverend Jean Bertin NADONYE, OFM Cap., Bishop of Lolo, Democratic Republic of the Congo with Friar Claudio IORIS, Minister Provincial of the Province of the Seraphic Father St. Francis in Italy (Naples) concelebrating, together with numerous confreres.

The choir of the Secular Franciscan Order (OFS) and the Franciscan Youth (YouFra), singing in harmony, provided musical accompaniment throughout the celebration.
In response to the questions of the rite, Friar Samuele serenely replied: “I ask to follow the teaching and footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ and to be definitively received into this Fraternity, in order to profess until death, with holy diligence, the life and Rule of the Friars Minor Conventual.” He then affirmed his willingness with the words, “Yes, I will.”
His parents, family members, and the entire congregation, were deeply moved, especially when Friar Samuele prostrated himself during the Litany of the Saints and, later, when he approached the seat of the Minister Provincial. Kneeling, with his hands in the hands of the Minister Provincial, he recited the profession formula and then signed the profession register, affixing his signature to the text he had previously written in his own hand.
This was followed by a fraternal embrace with all the friars present, as a sign of welcome into the Fraternity, followed by embraces with his parents and family members before the Mass continued.
After the final blessing and the dismissal, the devotional closing hymn “Salve, sancte Pater,” was sung. A group photo was then taken followed by a fraternal reception hosted by the local community.
