The fourth and final issue of 2025 of the Conventual Franciscan general newsletter is now available. It features documents and news from October–December.

From the Minister General’s two letters to all the friars (pp. 5-8), we highlight the vibrant exhortation “To move aside so that Christ may remain” in keeping with the teachings of Pope Leo XIV.

The sessions of the General Definitory (pp. 9-15) are followed by information from the General Offices (pp. 16-79). There is the historic announcement of the 800th anniversary of the Transitus of St. Francis with the public exposition of his mortal remains (p. 16), as well as the visit of Pope Leo XIV to Assisi (pp. 24-25). We also joyfully welcome new entries from the Order’s recently established Projects Office, created at the 2019 General Chapter (pp. 30–33).

From the Federation of Asian Minor Conventuals, we detail the visit of the Minister General to Indonesia (p. 98). From the Foederatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis, we point out the Federation’s Plenary Assembly in Gdańsk (pp. 109-110). from the Federazione Inter-mediterranea Ministri Provinciali, we highlight the national premiere in Assisi of the play “Francesco,” starring Aldo CAZZULLO with music by Angelo BRANDUARDI (p. 124).
