The Provincial Custody of the Orient and the Holy Land recently celebrated the solemn profession of three of its friars.
Friar André Marie GHANAAT RAHBAR professed his solemn vows on August 27, 2023, at the Sent Antuan Basilica in Istanbul. The Provincial Custos, Friar Anton BULAI, presided over the ceremony. Others attending included the friars of the Custody, representatives of the local Church, the faithful, and friends of the professed.
Friars Moses Ocheni Johnmaria FIDELIS and Naim Joseph TOUMA professed their solemn vows on September 2, 2023, at the St. Antoine de Padoue Parish Church in Beirut. The Most Reverend César ESSAYAN, OFM Conv., Vicar Apostolic of the Latins of Beirut, Lebanon, presided over the ceremony. Others attending included the Custos, the friars, the faithful, and friends and relatives of the professed.
The Custody joyfully celebrated the definitive acceptance of these three friars. They thanked God for the gift of their lives and asked the Lord for the gift of new vocations in the Custody and the Order.
