On Saturday, October 5, 2019 the solemn profession of seven friars took place in the Basilica of the Saint in Padua, Italy. It was a beautiful time of prayer and celebration for our religious family.
The celebration was presided over by the Vicar Provincial, Friar Roberto BRANDINELLI. Friar Roberto is now serving as the Major Superior of the Italian Province of St. Anthony of Padua (Northern Italy). Those in attendance included a large number of priests and religious, along with many family members and friends of those making their profession. Friar Adrian-Sorin GIURGI, the Vicar Provincial of the Province of St. Joseph, Spouse of the B.V.M. in Romania was present to accept the religious profession of one of his confreres. Friar Giovanni VOLTAN, the Assistant General for the Federazione Inter-mediterranea Ministri Provinciali (FIMP) was also present.
Those making their solemn profession were Friars Alberto TONELLO; Andrea CALABRIA; Anicet NGENDAMDUWNE; Davide POLINI; Francesco FILIPPI; Piero RUSSIAN—all from the Province of Padua, and Friar Gabriel BEJAN—from the Province of Romania.
