On Sunday, August 11, 2024, Friar Tomás Valerio ZEBALLO CABALLERO, a member of the Provincial Delegation in Paraguay of the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow) was ordained to the priesthood.
The ordination took place at the Natividad de María Church in Guarambaré, Paraguay, through the imposition of the hands of the Most Reverend Joaquín ROBLEDO ROMERO, Bishop of San Lorenzo, Paraguay. All of the friars of the Delegation were present along with the Minister General, Friar Carlos TROVARELLI. Other friars from abroad participated in the celebration, namely, Friar Mario CORREA from Uruguay, and Friar Roberto LIGGERI and his brother Friar Stefano LIGGERI from Italy.
The liturgy took place in a fraternal and family-like atmosphere; the event was full of emotion and joy. After the ordination there was a festive lunch followed by an artistic program with dances, songs and magic tricks. Those attending included the family of Friar Tomás Valerio, friars, and other guests.
