On April 16-19, 2026, the Annual Catholic Publishers’ Fair was held in Warsaw, Poland. The Conventual Franciscan Publishing House in Niepokalanów was one of dozens of exhibitors presenting religious-themed publications.
This marks the thirty-first year the Fair was hosted at the Kubicki Arcades, which are part of the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The event was organized by the Association of Catholic Publishers. Each year, it attracts many readers interested in high-quality literature with a profound message. This year’s Fair focused on the themes of the pastoral year “Missionary Disciples” and the 70th anniversary of the “Vows of the Polish Nation at Jasna Góra.” Another important part of the program was the commemoration of the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis. Alongside many other exhibitors, the Conventual Franciscan Publishing House in Niepokalanów showcased its latest releases.
Particularly noteworthy were its latest books, including My Vision of Klimuszko (Moje widzenie Klimuszki) – a narrative about Friar Czesław KLIMUSZKO, OFM Conv., (1905–1980), whose life was devoted to serving others. In addition, it featured two reprints of biographies on St. Maximilian Kolbe as a man of action–a friar, a publisher, a missionary, and a martyr of charity. Also on display were commemorative calendars, and the latest issues of the monthly magazine “Knight of the Immaculate” and “Little Knight” (“Rycerzyk”) for younger readers. The motto of the Niepokalanów exhibit was: “The Word That Endures.”
The Catholic Publishers’ Fair in Warsaw is one of the most important events dedicated to religious literature in Poland. Its exhibitors include both diocesan and religious publishing houses as well as various commercial companies. Here, readers can discover a wide range of religious literature, spiritual classics, social publications, books on history, philosophy, and children’s books. The organizers aim to share the good word with readers through books and to promote values based on the Gospel message.
