On October 19-23, 2025, a spiritual retreat was conducted for spiritual assistants, presidents, and animators of the Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.)
The retreat took place at the friary in Niepokalanów Lasek, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw). The retreat was led by Friar Ryszard Maria ŻUBER, the National President of the M.I. in Poland. Eleven people attended. The main theme of the retreat was: “Marian Pilgrims of Hope.”
The retreat was a time of silence, prayer, and heartfelt conversation. The highlights of the program were the Mass, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and a communal rosary recited with the local community. There was also an opportunity to share experiences, advice, and observations taken from the work of the M.I. groups.
The participants listened to meditations on “The Love of God and the Protection of Our Immaculate Mother” (Friar Ryszard ŻUBER), “Entrusting Oneself and One’s Loved Ones to the Protection of the Immaculata” (Friar Mirosław KOPCZEWSKI), and “How to Share One’s Suffering with Christ So That It Is Not Wasted” (Friar Stanisław PIĘTKA). During the retreat, spent in the company of the Immaculate Mother and St. Maximilian, there was also a meeting to promote unity and fraternity.
