On August 25-31, 2025, a retreat for disabled persons was held at the friary in Niepokalanów Lasek, Poland, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw).

The retreat, led by Friar Grzegorz Maria BARTOSIK, was held under the theme “Pilgrims of Hope.” A total of seventy people participated, including forty-four individuals with disabilities and twenty-five volunteers who offered their support and guidance. It was an enriching time, marked by reflection on the Word of God, the celebration of Mass, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and building relationships with one another. Each day, the participants deepened their faith in the Lord and rediscovered their love for our Heavenly Mother through personal reflection and group meetings. They inspired each other with the Word they heard. During the retreat, the Minister Provincial, Friar Piotr ŻURKIEWICZ, visited the community and celebrated Mass for them.
The participants went on a communal pilgrimage to the Niepokalanów Shrine. They got to know each other better around a bonfire, and they spent some evenings in joyful fellowship. A number of the participants in the retreat entrusted themselves to the Immaculate Virgin Mary and thus became part of the Militia of the Immaculata.
