On September 10 to September 12, 2018, in the convent of St. Anthony the Wonderworker in St. Petersburg, in the presence of the Minister General Friar Marco TASCA and the Assistant General FEMO (Federatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis) Friar Jacek CIUPIŃSKI, the second part of the Ordinary Chapter of the General Custody of the SPN St. Francis in Russia was held.
In this second part of the Chapter, the friars approved the Custody’s program for the next four years. The Chapter also chose the new guardians and the heads of the custodial commissions. The following friars were elected as guardians: Friar Piotr Maria KARNIALIUK (convent of St. Francis in Moscow); Fra Nikolay DUBININ (convent of St. Anthony the Wonderworker in St. Petersburg), Fra Andrej BUKO (convent of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Czerniachovsk) and Fra Waldemar MACKIEWICZ (convent of the Assumption of the B.V.M in Astrakhan).
