July 15, 2024, marks the 750th anniversary of the death of St. Bonaventure. The Church is celebrating this anniversary in appreciation of the saint’s monumental work in theology and philosophy. The entire Franciscan Family is celebrating this event in remembrance of his outstanding testimony and powerful message.

Our Pontifical Theological Faculty in Rome is named after him. It is celebrating this event because it is aware of the splendid legacy left by the Seraphic Doctor.
The Faculty will host a special celebration on November 14, 2024, according to the following program:

Introductory remarks from the Dean, Friar Raffaele DI MURO

Lecture by Friar Pietro MARANESI, OFM Cap,: “Bonaventure: Teacher and Minister  GeneralHighlights of His Service to the Church and the Order”

10:30 a.m.: Coffee break

11:30 a.m.:          
Mass presided over by Friar Jan MACIEJOWSKI, Vice Grand Chancellor and Vicar General of the Conventual Franciscan Order
