On August 27-30, 2020, the Seraphicum College in Rome hosted a spiritual retreat for the laity. The retreat was led by Friar Raffaele DI MURO, OFM Conv., a professor of spiritual theology.

This was the first retreat organized by our confreres which was offered to a wide audience. The response was very encouraging, despite the problems related to Covid-19.
The theme of the retreat was on prayer and the ways of expressing it in the life of the believer. Silence and recollection formed a backdrop to what was a rich and productive spiritual experience. The fundamental ingredients of this time of the Spirit were prayer, lecture and discussion. The event was enhanced by the hospitality of the Seraphicum Holiday House.
The retreat ended with the satisfaction of all the participants and friars who collaborated in making it a success.
The next retreat is scheduled for November 26-29, 2020. Its theme will be on the value of community prayer.
