“The Shell,” available in the Apple App store and Google Play store, now has pilgrimages available in Italian, Spanish, and English. A new pilgrimage has been added for the 2025 Jubilee – Pilgrims of Hope, featuring the Franciscan spirituality found in the four major basilicas in Rome.
This app was developed by the Conventual Franciscan Federation (CFF) website “FranciscanVoice.org,” in collaboration with the Order’s office for Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC). The Franciscan Voice pilgrimage app (“The Shell”) accompanies pilgrims visiting holy sites, as well as pilgrims who wish to visit the holy sites virtually.
Other pilgrimages include the Mercy Pilgrimage in Assisi (available in all languages) and England’s 800th Anniversary of the Arrival of the First Franciscans Pilgrimage (available in English). Use the QR code to easily find and download “The Shell” app online.
