On Monday, February 21, 2022, the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea conducted an online Provincial Assembly using the Zoom Internet platform.
Due to the pandemic, each community participated online from their own friary. The Assembly was held in the morning, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and in the afternoon, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
During the Assembly, the Provincial Econom gave a presentation on the financial status of the Jurisdiction. Later, the Guardians and Committee Chairs shared news about their communities and the work of their committees. Lastly, there was time to discuss what has been accomplished in the last seven years, regarding the topics put forward by the encyclical Laudato Si’.
The Assembly was a meaningful time of shared fraternity and joy.
