On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the members of the local center of the Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.) for Assisi conducted an Assembly to elect new leaders at the close of the current four-year term. The event took place in the Hall of Peace at the Sacred Convent in Assisi.

There are a total of one hundred and sixty members of the M.I. registered in Assisi. Thirty-four of them took part in the Assembly, along with their Spiritual Assistant, Friar Tadeusz ŚWIĄTKOWSKI.
The Assembly began at 9:00 p.m., with an opening address from the General Custos of Assisi, Friar Marco MORONI. Simona ORTI, the President of the Regional Center of the M.I. for the Italian Region of Umbria, presided. Also present was the Spiritual Assistant for Umbria, Friar Carmine VITALE (both from Foligno, Italy). The total of voters was thirty-seven.
The outgoing President of the Local M.I. Center for Assisi, Guido GAUDENZI, gave a report on the progress of the local M.I. over the last four years. After the report, voting took place with the following elected to office: President: Guido GAUDENZI (2nd four-year term); Vice-President: Susanna LIGIOS (2nd four-year term); Councilors: Antonella FRATELLINI (1st four-year period); Doriana TRAVISANI (1st four-year term); Enzo ILARIO (2nd four-year term); and Gianfranco ORTICA (1st four-year term).
After the elections, Friar Carmine VITALE took the floor and encouraged and invited the Militia members to take up the courageous mission of bearing witness to the Gospel, in the spirit of total consecration to Our Lady.
The Assembly concluded at 11:00 p.m. with a closing prayer.
