As Easter approaches, the community of the Sacred Convent of Assisi wishes to provide some online pastoral ministry for all disciples of St. Francis who wish to follow the Lord Jesus in the stages leading up to and commemorating His Easter victory and the miracle of our redemption (YouTube channel: @BasilicaSanFrancescodAssisi).
Each day during Holy Week, Friars Riccardo GIACON and Giulio CESAREO will offer a short video, about three minutes in length, in which they will present an introduction to the Gospel of the day, offer a biblical meditation and give a reflection on it from the Franciscan perspective. The texts of the meditations were taken from “Franciscan Moments,” a liturgical quarterly published by the General Custody of the Sacred Convent in Italy. The Holy Week reflections were written by Friar Massimo VEDOVA.
