On February 24-28, 2025, the annual retreat of the Province of St. Francis of Assisi in Brazil was held at its own São Francisco de Assis Retreat Center in Campo Largo, state of Paraná, Brazil.
The retreat was preached by the Most Reverend Carlos Alberto BREIS PEREIRA, OFM, Archbishop of Maceió, state of Alagoas, Brazil. The theme of the reflections during the retreat was: “With Francis, in Love with the Mystery of Creation and Incarnation, We Are Pilgrims of Hope.”
Thirty-seven friars from the Province of St. Francis attended, together with the Assistant General for the Federación América Latina Conventuales (FALC) Friar Rogério PEREIRA XAVIER.
We thank the Lord for this significant time of prayer, silence, revitalization and fraternity.
