On September 23-27, 2019, the friars of the Provincial Custody of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Canada took part in their annual spiritual retreat. The retreat was led by Friar Norbert SIWIŃSKI, Pastor and Guardian of the Friary of St. Michael the Archangel in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. The retreat took place at the Friary of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Montreal, Canada.
During his lectures, Friar Norbert revealed the Mariological thought present in the life and writings of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Maximilian M. Kolbe, St. John Paul II and the Servant of God Stefan Cardinal WYSZYŃSKI. Cardinal WYSZYŃSKI was the Primate of Poland during the difficult period of the communist regime following the Second World War.
The spiritual and Mariological content Friar Norbert offered will certainly bear good fruit in the life of the Custody.
