Every year the friars of the Province of Saints Cyril and Methodius in the Czech Republic organize a formational and fraternal meeting. The most recent meeting took place on September 8-13, 2019 at the Erlebachova Bouda (Erlebach’s Mountain Hotel) in the Giant Mountains of the Czech Republic.
A Capuchin Franciscan from Stalowa Wola, Poland, presented a series of lectures to the friars. He talked about the foundations of the Franciscan lifestyle, which is rooted in the obedience, poverty and faith that St. Francis demonstrated.
The Erlebachova Bouda resort is dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi and has a small chapel named after our founder. The owner of the resort is a great devotee of the saint. The resort is also known as Erlebach’s and Joseph’s Mountain Huts.
