On October 24-26, 2022, a fraternal meeting took place between the friars of the Province of Saints Cyril and Methodius in the Czech Republic and the friars of the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Slovakia. The event was held at the St. Francis of Paola Spirituality Center in Vranov, (near Brno) in the Czech Republic.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant General for the Federatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis (FEMO), Friar Tomáš LESŇÁK and almost all the friars of both Jurisdictions.
The event was conducted in a fraternal and Franciscan atmosphere. The program included common prayer, discussion and sharing experiences. There were also hikes in the beautifully colored forest around the city. Vranov is the site of numerous pilgrimages to Our Lady of Vranov. The guests from Slovakia also visited the Conventual Franciscan friary in Brno and the local Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul.
The participants listened with interest to a reflection by psychologist Ondřej PTÁČEK on the theme, “Openness in Everyday Life.”
Finally, the friars thank the Minim Fathers of St. Francis of Paola for welcoming them into their friary in Vranov.
