On Holy Tuesday, March 30, 2021, the Most Reverend José RUEDA APARICIO, Archbishop of Bogotá and Primate of Colombia, made a fraternal visit to the formation house of San Antonio de Padua in Bogotá, which belongs to the Provincial Custody of St. Francis of Assisi in Colombia.
The archbishop, acting as a father and pastor, spent some fraternal time with the confreres in a way that was simple and supportive. He also toured the streets of the Parish of San Luis de Tolosa, which is served by the friars of the Custody. During his visit the archbishop highlighted the friars’ pastoral care of the faithful during these difficult times of pandemic. He asked the friars to continue guiding this little portion of the Church through our charism.
His visit culminated with the celebration of Mass, which was attended by some nuns who live near the formation house as well as some faithful.
