On October 17-18, 2022, the friars of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea met in person to celebrate their Provincial Assembly. It was the first time they had done so since their Provincial Assembly in February of 2020. This latest Assembly took place at the retreat house of the Assisiui Seong Francisco Sudowon Friary in Seoul.

Fifty-eight confreres gathered to reflect on the life and activities of the Jurisdiction and other issues. They were assisted by Friar Benedetto Seung-jae BAEK, the Assistant General for the Federation of Asian Minor Conventuals (FAMC).
On the first day, Friar Giuseppe Wonhoi NOH, the Provincial Econom, presented and explained the financial status of the Province. Then, the Guardians shared news about their fraternities.
On the second day, the Chairmen of the Commissions shared news about the work of the commissions.
The Assembly concluded with Mass presided over by Friar Marco Jin Chol JEONG, the Minister Provincial.
Due to the slow resumption of activities after the pandemic, there was not much talk about the apostolate, but the meeting was meaningful because after a long time, the friars were able to come together again and share fraternal love.
