On March 23-24, 2021, the Guardians of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea met together at the Friary of St. Francis in Seoul. This was the first Guardians meeting of the new four-year term of the Province.
The eight Guardians of the Province met with the Minister Provincial, Friar Marco Jin Chol JEONG, to discuss and reflect upon the life of their fraternities. During the meeting, the Guardians explained the status of the friars and the apostolate. In particular, they discussed the House Chapter, the revision of the Provincial Statutes and the transfer of the formation house.
The Minister Provincial asked the Guardians to communicate the topics that were discussed at the meeting with their confreres. Since the Provincial assembly scheduled for February was canceled, this gathering ended up being the friars’ first meeting of the new four-year term.
