On November 29, 2023, the feast of All Saints of the Seraphic Order, all of the solemnly professed members of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea renewed their vows to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the approval of the Later Rule.
Almost all the confreres of the Province gathered at the Friary of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Daegu. They celebrated the renewal of their vows during the 11:00 a.m. Mass, presided over by the Minister Provincial, Friar Mark Jin Chol JEONG.
In his homily, the Minister Provincial said that we must strive to be true Friars Minor Conventual by conforming our lives to the spirit of the Rule, not changing its substance to fit our lives.
After the Mass, the friars shared a celebratory and fraternal meal together.
