The inter-Franciscan online course on evangelization efforts in Europe today was very successful, thank God. Friars from twenty-three European countries participated, and there were more than one hundred online connections made every day (in some cases, the whole fraternity attended at once). Many expressed their appreciation for the form and content of the course.
To make sure this course doesn’t fade into a beautiful memory, but continues to be productive for all of us, a PDF can now be downloaded which contains all the reflection content that the course offered, such as the presentations by our Ministers General, the reports that were made and also the material that was presented by the organizers of the course, the Secretaries General for Evangelization and Mission from the three Orders.
We hope that individual friars and fraternities will use this material to inspire continuing formation meetings, House Chapters or meetings of the Jurisdiction. In fact, the topics covered in this material clearly explain the evangelization efforts we are undertaking and what the Spirit is calling us to achieve in today’s Europe as Franciscans.
Therefore, we ask that you not archive this material, but promote it to our confreres and use it for common reflection. Afterwards, we ask that you send us any suggestions you may have.
