On July 17, 2025, the 2025–2026 canonical novitiate year began in a formation house of the Provincial Delegation in Ecuador in Tulcán, Ecuador. The formation house was previously used for the postulancy program.
Two confreres were admitted to the novitiate: Henry Renan VILLACÍS REINOSO of the Delegation in Ecuador, which belongs to the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdańsk), and Renato Fernando ARICA AZALDEGUI of the Provincial Delegation in Peru, of the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow). The admission ceremony was presided over by the Novice Master and Director of the postulancy program, Friar Jesús E. CEBALLOS BENAVIDES, together with Friar Oscar D. GAÓN MARTÍNEZ, Vice Novice Master.
Last year, the novices from Ecuador carried out their novitiate in the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. This year, however, it was decided to conduct it in Ecuador for various reasons.
The ceremony took place in a fraternal atmosphere, filled with joy and deep emotion. We wish our novice brothers perseverance, zeal, and peace of heart on their journey in religious life.
