On June 6, 2022, Friar Jérémie-Marie MACÉ of the Provincial Custody of St. Bonaventure in France-Belgium was ordained to the priesthood by the Most Reverend François BUSTILLO, OFM Conv., Bishop of Ajaccio, France.
The Custody joyfully celebrated the ordination, which took place at the Saint François d’Assise Friary in Cholet, France.
Friar Jérémie-Marie was born on April 27, 1989, in Saint-Nazaire, in the Pays de la Loire region of France. He made his simple profession on August 29, 2015, his solemn profession on September 14, 2019, and was ordained to the diaconate on December 26, 2020.
Currently, he is a member of the community at the friary in Cholet, where, among his other services, he heads the “St. Francis Program” dedicated to the spiritual formation of young people.
