On Thursday, August 15, 2024, four friars from the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in India made their solemn profession. The ceremony was held at Assisi Shanthi Kendra, the Provincial curia in Karukutty, Kerala State, India.
Friars Alan PARAYIL, Dibin NALLUKUNNEL, Subodha KUMAR NAYAK, and Arun MANGALY professed their solemn vows during Mass presided over by the Minister Provincial, Friar Michael EARALY. Their solemn profession marks a significant milestone in their Franciscan journey, solidifying their lifelong commitment to the Order. Friar Arun Alphonse VAZHAPPANADY delivered a passionate homily, emphasizing the friars’ special election by God and the profound significance of their Franciscan vocation. The ceremony was enhanced by a devotional choir, which added a layer of spiritual depth to the celebration.
