On October 7-9, 2025, the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in India conducted its annual fraternal gathering of students and friars in formation. The event took place at the Provincial Curia, namely, the Assisi Shanthi Kendra Friary in Karukutty, Kerala State, India.

The gathering brought together young friars from various formation houses for three days of prayer, fellowship, and joyful fraternity. The formation meeting began on Tuesday, October 7, with arrivals, an inauguration procession carrying community flags, and volleyball matches, all of which created a vibrant and fraternal atmosphere.

On Wednesday, October 8, the day began with Mass in the Syro-Malabar Rite presided over by Friar Bonaventure KALLUVETTUKUZHIYIL, OFM Conv., who was celebrating his 25th anniversary of solemn profession. The morning continued with a fraternal discussion led by Friar Michael EARALY, the Minister Provincial. He inspired the friars to live their vocation with renewed zeal. The afternoon featured recreation, sports, and a lively cultural program with prizes distributed afterwards, highlighting the creativity and joy of the friars in formation.
The final day, Thursday, October 9, began with Morning Prayer. Next, there was common recreation at the nearby Kolbe Franciscan Ashram Friary in Aluva, followed by Mass presided over by Friar Michael EARALY. The gathering ended with a fraternal lunch and farewells, leaving the participants enriched and strengthened in the Franciscan spirit of unity, simplicity, and joy.
