Brothers,
On February 26, 2024, the members of the Organizing Committee for the International Youth Towards Assisi Meeting (July-August 2025) met at the Seraphicum College in Rome.
They reflected on, and began to prepare, material for the upcoming International Youth Towards Assisi Meeting. The upcoming Meeting will be an opportunity to rekindle the relationship between the friars and the youth that began during the wonderful 2023 World Youth Day in Lisbon. The Meeting will also be connected with the Vatican’s 2025 “Pilgrims of Hope” Jubilee Year, thus providing more grace to put dreams and desires into motion, again, in a setting of trust and sharing.
The friars are asked to contribute ideas in order to create a program that is rooted in faith, follows the charism of St Francis, and is suited to the times in which we live.
On March 11, 2024, an online meeting will be conducted, using an Internet platform, for all of the friars who want to participate.
