On the evening of June 20, 2023, relics of Blessed Zbigniew STRZAŁKOWSKI and Blessed Michał TOMASZEK, missionary martyrs of Pariacoto, Peru, were formally given to the Seraphicum International College in Rome.
Those attending the ceremony included members of the General Definitory of the Conventual Franciscans, the brothers of the blessed friars and Sister Berta HERNANDEZ from Peru, who witnessed the two Conventual Franciscan friars from Poland being kidnapped by members of the Sendero Luminoso terrorist organization and taken to the place of their execution.
The Mass was presided over by Friar Marian GOŁĄB, the Minister Provincial of the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow), the home Province of the Blessed Martyrs. The Minister Provincial personally delivered the relics to the Guardian and Rector of the Seraphicum, Friar Adam MĄCZKA.
