The Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico celebrated various anniversaries of priestly ordination and profession for some of its friars.

At noon on June 29, 2022, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles, the friars of the Province of Mexico gathered at the Cristo del Valle y San Francisco de Asís Church in Nezahualcóyotl, to celebrate Mass together and to commemorate the anniversaries of ordination and profession of vows for some friars who had been unable to celebrate them before due to the pandemic. The commemorations included the 50th anniversary of priestly ordination of Friar Antonio BANNÒ (July 30, 1970); and the 25th anniversaries of priestly ordination of Friars Óscar Vicente BENAVIDES GALICIA (June 10, 1995), Abrahám BENJAMÍN CRISÓSTOMO (April 10, 1996), Ramón CAMACHO OCAMPO (June 28, 1997) and José Luis SOLÍS ALCÁNTAR (June 28, 1997). In addition, Friars Mario CASTRO MARTÍNEZ, Carlos LOVERA ESCOBAR and José Noé GASPARIANO PRIETO, celebrated their 25th anniversary of solemn profession (June 27, 1997).
Also present were the friars in formation from the formation houses and friars from all the friaries in the Province, as well as the jubilarians’ families, friends and parishioners who supported the jubilarians during their vocational journey.
