On April 19-21, 2024, a meeting was conducted for children who are members of the Militia of the Immaculata, on the theme: “Discovering the Eucharist.” The event took place at the friary in Niepokalanów Lasek, Poland, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw).
Eighty children between the ages of seven and thirteen participated. The meeting program was intense and challenging. The high point was the Mass celebrated at the midpoint of the meeting. There were plenty of fun yet formational moments, including a movie marathon with popcorn and some goodies from Poland’s Holy Cross region. Next there was a sort of treasure hunt, in which the children received passages about the Eucharist as the game progressed. They also had the pleasure of being together during cheerful mornings and evenings of games and dancing.
The meeting ended with a Mass at which the children’s parents also participated. All of the children left happy and looking forward to the next meeting.
