From October 18 to 22, 2026, a spiritual retreat for M.I. Spiritual Assistants, Group Presidents, and animators was held at the M.I. Formation Center located at the friary in Niepokalanów Lasek, Poland, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw). The retreat took place immediately after the M.I. members’ fall gathering.
The meditations were focused on the words Our Lady spoke during the apparitions in Gietrzwałd, Poland in 1877: “I want you to pray the Rosary every day.” Friar Mirosław Maria KOPCZEWSKI, OFM Conv., a Provincial Spiritual Assistant for the M.I., led the retreat. Twelve people attended.
Each day was centered on the celebration of Mass, the recitation of the Rosary, and Eucharistic Adoration. The participants listened attentively to the meditations and then shared their reflections with the entire community. Despite the small group, the retreat was conducted in an atmosphere of genuine joy and fraternal unity. At the conclusion of the retreat, everyone renewed their act of consecration to the Immaculata in the spirit of St. Maximilian Kolbe.
