On September 22-25, 2019, the friars of the Provincial Delegation in Holland met in assembly at Denekamp, Holland. Also present were Friar Dominique MATHIEU, the Assistant General for the Centralis Europae Foederatio (CEF), and Friar Bernhardin M. SEITHER, the Minister Provincial of the Province of St. Elizabeth in Germany.

The Provincial Delegate, Friar Thijs MOONS, offered a reflection on the theme “The God in Whom I Believe Is a Wounded God”. He also talked about his experience at the last Ordinary General Chapter, in particular, the joy of erecting two new Provinces.
Friar Bernhardin spoke as the Minister Provincial in charge of the Delegation. He talked about the strengths of the German Province and the Dutch Delegation as well as the problems both face.
The central moment of the assembly was a request made to the German Provincial Definitory to reconfirm the current Delegate. Friar Thijs expressed his willingness to continue this service.
Two jubilees were celebrated at this assembly: Friar Renatus DE HILSTER celebrated his 60th anniversary of simple profession and Friar Theo SCHOLTES celebrated his 50th anniversary of priesthood.
