On Sunday, January 4, 2026, a concert featuring the winners of last year’s 10th International Festival of Christmas Carols and Folk Songs took place in Kalwaria Pacławska, near Przemyśl, Poland.
The roster of award-winning soloists, duets, and vocal groups performed their most beautiful Christmas carols. Before the concert, Mass was celebrated in the minor basilica, with the Most Reverend Adam SZAL, Archbishop of Przemyśl.
On that day, music lovers were able to listen to and see the ten best performers, namely, Sara WOŁOSZYN (Przemyśl), Zuzanna ŁYSY (Walawa), Jan GAWEŁ (Terliczka), Kinga POCHROŃ (Niedomice), Kornelia WODKA (Przemyśl), Paweł MADZIA (Nowy Sącz), Kira Aniela TWARDY (Rzeszów), the group “Szafirowe Nutki” (Mirocin), the group “Animato” (Rozbórz) and the group “The Melody” (Przemyśl). The winners were selected by a jury composed of Dr. Elżbieta PRZYSTASZ, a professor at the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce, Poland, a conductor, a choir teacher and a university lecturer; Ewa SIEMBIDA-JACHYM, a singer, a teacher, and vocal coach; Paulina Muzyczka, a singer, a violinist, a composer, and a teacher; Lucyna Rudawska, a musician, a Gospel music teacher, and the event hostess. The event organizers were the Przemyśl Cultural Center, the Przemyśl Subcarpathian Gospel Association, and the Friary in Kalwaria Pacławska.
The 11th International Festival of Christmas Carols and Folk Songs is scheduled for January 24-25, 2026.
