On Saturday, November 27, 2021, the Most Reverend Grzegorz RYŚ, Metropolitan Archbishop of Łódź, Poland, gave a lecture on St. Francis of Assisi for the participants of the Franciscan School of Spirituality.

The event took place in the Church of Our Lady of the Angels in Łódź. The lecture focused on the times in which St. Francis lived and preached.
This was the final lecture of the first year of the Franciscan School of Spirituality in Łódź. Therefore, immediately after his lecture, the archbishop handed out diplomas to the graduates. The diplomas were issued by the Institute of Franciscan Studies in Cracow, Poland. Those attending the archbishop’s lecture included some participants who are already enrolled in the second year of the Franciscan School. Lessons will begin in October and hopefully continue until May of 2022.
After the diplomas were handed out, some souvenir photos were taken and a fraternal agape meal was shared.
