The Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow) has begun the process of installing its newly elected Guardians. In the friaries of the Province located in Poland, the installation takes place in the presence of the Minister Provincial or his Vicar and the Provincial Econom or the Provincial Exactor.

The first installation occurred on May 29, 2024, in Radomsko, Poland. The last one is scheduled to take place in Kalwaria Pacławska, Poland, after August 15, the patronal feast day.
The introduction of a new Guardian to his ministry in the friary and his taking office starts with a ceremony in the friary chapel, with members of the community also present. The presiding Major Superior reminds the new Guardian of his duties and obligations.
The installation of a new Guardian is conducted in keeping with a special protocol document, which is approved by the Minister Provincial with the consent of his Definitory. The protocol document includes, among other things: a list of the ordinary books belonging to the friary; a list of its administrative and financial books; a list of its other current books and documents; and a list of its bank accounts, funds and movable assets, according to the inventory.
At the end, those present sign the protocol document for handing over the books and assets of the friary. This takes place after the actual state of things has been verified.
