On October 22-26, 2023, a spiritual retreat was conducted for Assistants, Presidents and Animators of the Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.). The event took place at the M.I. Formation Center in Niepokalanów Lasek, Poland, part of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw). The theme of the retreat was: “May I Live and Die in Her” (the Church).
The retreat was led by Friar Stanisław Maria PIĘTKA. The M.I. National President for Poland, Friar Ryszard Maria ŻUBER, gave one of the reflections.
Each day featured Mass, the Rosary, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the communal recitation of the Liturgy of the Hours.
Although the community was small, there was a lot of joy in just being together. Among those participating was Friar Radosław DŁUGI, a confrere serving in Germany, who came with a group of Militia members.
At the end of the event, the participants renewed their Act of Consecration to the Immaculata and also had an opportunity to enroll in the M.I.
