On the eve of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, September 7, 2024, fourteen confreres received the Conventual Franciscan habit, thus beginning their novitiate year. Four of them are from the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow), five are from the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw), and five are from the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdańsk).

The rite of vesture took place in Smardzewice, Poland. Those attending included Friar Piotr ŻURKIEWICZ, the Minister Provincial of Warsaw; Friar Marcin DRĄG, the Vicar Provincial of Cracow, and Friar Robert WOŁYNIEC, the Vicar Provincial of Gdańsk.
Starting this year, the Novice Master is Friar Piotr KŁYS and the Assistant Novice Master is Friar Piotr STĘPNIAK.
On the morning of September 7, 2024, the confreres from the Provinces of Warsaw and Gdańsk who had just completed their novitiate year, made their simple profession. They publicly committed themselves to live in obedience, chastity and without anything of their own. The confreres from the Province of Cracow will do the same on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Shrine of the Lord’s Passion and the Mother of God in Kalwaria Pacławska, near Przemyśl, Poland.
