From November 20 to December 19, 2018, a general canonical visitation was conducted in the Province of St. Nicholas and St. Angelo in Italy (Puglia).

Friar Joaquín Ángel AGESTA CUEVAS, the Assistant General for the Federazione Inter-mediterranea Ministri Provinciali (FIMP) conducted the visitation on behalf of the Minister General, Friar Marco TASCA.
The Province currently has forty-six religious. There are four temporarily professed religious brothers, of whom one is a clerical student. There are two solemnly professed friars, thirty-eight temporarily professed priests, and one bishop). The Province has eight friaries and one filial house.
The canonical visitation was concluded in Bari with a meeting of the Visitator with the Provincial Definitory.
During the visitation, special prayer was offered to commemorate Friar Giovanni MEDDA, the last General Visitator. He had returned to the Father’s House immediately after this assignment, without leaving a written report.
