On July 1, 2024, the General Definitory met with the General Assistants, Secretaries and Delegates to talk about the work they have done, the challenges and problems they have faced, and the objectives they have achieved during the current six-year term. The meeting took place at the Friary of the Twelve Holy Apostles in Rome.

TROVARELLI and his Definitory; the General Delegate for Formation, Friar Piotr STANISŁAWCZYK; the General Delegate for Missionary Animation, Friar Dariusz MAZUREK; the General Assistant for the Secular Franciscan Order, Friar Ștefan ACATRINEI; the General Delegate for Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation, Friar Michael J. LASKY; the General Delegate for Communications, Friar Alejandro PALACIOS VÁZQUEZ; the General Archivist, Friar Domenico CASTIGLIONE; the General Delegate for the Second Order and Affiliated Institutes, Friar Germano TOGNETTI; the General Delegate for Assistance to the Militia of the Immaculata, Friar Gilson Miguel NUNES; the Head of Statistics and Editor in Chief of Commentarium Ordinis, Friar Silvestru BEJAN; the Vice Postulator General, Friar Valdo R. Some friars were unable to attend due to various reasons.
The meeting began at 10:00 a.m. and concluded with a fraternal agape meal at 7:00 p.m. Each friar talked about the work he did, the difficulties he encountered in the process, the objectives he achieved and the challenges he foresaw for the future. After each presentation, the other participants had time to make comments and ask questions.
Separately, the heads of the Secretariats and General Offices are always in contact with the Minister General and his Definitory, but this particular meeting allowed the friars to discuss their activities in a fraternal atmosphere. The friars were mutually enriched by this meeting whose findings will offer the General Government a concrete, realistic and richer perspective as it prepares for the 2025 General Chapter.
