Formally known as Capuchin Social Theatre, FRANCISCAN Social Theatre began with a collaborate effort of the larger Franciscan Family to host programs in Poland for Ukrainians in 2022 and 2023, as well as programs in Lebanon for Syrians in 2023 and 2024.
The success of these programs has led not only to a new name, but to a co-directorship of the program, now under the umbrella of Roman VI, a union of General Delegates for Justice Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) of the six branches of the Franciscan Family in Rome.
The co-directors of Franciscan Social Theatre are Friar Stefano LUCA, OFM Cap. and Friar Michael LASKY, OFM Conv.
