On Friday evening, August 2, 2024, Friar Wayne Tristen MULEI, a member of the Province of St. Joseph of Cupertino in the USA (SJC), professed his solemn vows in the presence of assembled friars, family, and parishioners.
The ceremony took place at the Transfiguration Church in Castro Valley, California, USA, which is administered by the friars of the SJC Province. Friar Wayne is a native of Reno, Nevada, USA, where he first met the friars who were ministering at the local Cathedral of St. Thomas Aquinas. Friar Wayne served in the United States Marine Corps prior to his entrance into the Order. He is currently studying at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC.
