On July 5, 2020, the Province of Our Lady of the Angels in the USA celebrated the vesting of four novices. The ceremony took place in the Chapel of the Shrine of St. Anthony of Padua in Ellicott City, Maryland, USA.
The four new confreres are: Friars Michael BOES, Edgar VARELA, Jonathan GARCÍA ZENTENO and Bram DE BACKER. After the rite of vesting in the habit of our Order, the four were transferred to the North American Novitiate of St. Joseph of Cupertino in Arroyo Grande, California, USA. They will spend their year of probation there, in a spirit of fraternity, engaged in personal and community prayer, and taking part in various activities, such as lessons, workshops, manual labor, etc., in keeping with the objectives at this stage of formation.
Let us remember these new novices in our prayers and ask the Lord to bless them and support them on the journey.
