The beatification of the Venerable Servant of God Veronica ANTAL, a Third Order Franciscan, will take place on September 22, 2018, in Nisiporeşti, Romania.
The Most Reverend Giovanni Angelo Becciu, Substitute for General Affairs of the Secretariat of State (Vatican City), communicated with the office of General Postulation of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual (by letter, no. 396.703, dated March 17, 2018). In his letter he stated: “His Holiness has granted that the celebration of the Rite of Beatification of the Venerable Servant of God Veronica ANTAL, a lay faithful of the Secular Franciscan Order, shall take place in Nisiporeşti, in the Neamţ district of Romania, on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The Holy Father will be represented by His Eminence Angelo Cardinal Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.”
